Shining Star Grand Chapter #1501 was chartered on April 27th, 1990. The first Grand Worthy Matron was Sis. Katie Sumner who served from 1988 to 1994. Under the leadership of Sis. Katie Sumner, eight Chapters were formed to make up the Grand Chapter.
